Alaaf im Pott celebrates 2021 as the biggest carnival party in the Ruhr area, with the premiere in the legendary Grugahalle in Essen. A carnival party with many stars of the Cologne scene, such as Brings, Kasalla, Klüngelköpp, Paveier, and Druckluft.

The organizer, Lars Becker, has been involved in carnival himself for many years, was on the executive board of Cologne’s oldest carnival society for many years, and has held and continues to hold many different positions, including moderator in the Cologne Rose Monday parade, planning and the implementation of junior events in the Cologne Festival Committee.
