Sunset Beach Bar

A place that feels like a moment’s vacation – with a unique view of the sunset and the sandy beach at Halterner Stausee, on the edge of the Ruhr region, on the threshold of Münsterland. The Sunset Beach Bar offers the perfect refuge for a relaxing drink after work, time out with friends and family on the weekend, or to simply unwind for a moment with chill music.

With the Sunset Beach Bar, the organizers of the Sunset Beach Festival have realized a long-standing heart project. For a long time the idea was smoldering to reactivate the outdoor area of the old lakeside terraces – to make it possible to experience the one summer festival day more often and to breathe even more life into this wonderful place. Since the festival has to take a break for the second year in a row due to Corona, the team took the plunge and built a pop-up beer garden around the Seeterrassen building, true to the motto: DIY – Do it yourself.
