MGNFY & gigmit cooperate to bring new talents to the festival stages

DJs and live acts watch out: Your chance to perform on big festival stages. MGNFY is organizing the Sunset Beach Festival and the Farbenwald Festival in Germany in the upcoming summer. Two great festivals where new DJs can now be part of the action.

Borken and Haltern am See are two places where the upcoming summer will be wild. The season starts on 20 May with the Farbenwald Festival in Borken and continues on 24 June 2023 with the Sunset Beach Festival in Haltern am See. Both festivals stand for electronic music festivals made with love that you shouldn’t miss. The unique thing: Both festivals open their stages to young talent, up-and-coming artists, and fresh sound. How? In cooperation with the Berlin start-up gigmit, so-called calls will be opened for suitable artists to apply. In one minute, artists can create a profile and connect to services like Facebook, Instagram, Spotify, Soundcloud, Mixcloud, and Youtube. This allows the MGNFY organizers to see the acts‘ new releases and streams. It couldn’t be easier.

„gigmit stands for festival booking of tomorrow. We want to open up the stages for all artists, regardless of gender, origin, or contacts. gigmit stands for more diversity at festivals and we are happy that the Farbenwald Festival and the Sunset Beach Festival also find this very important,“ says Lise Carles, Marketing Director of gigmit.

All visitors can look forward to a distinctly diverse line-up and the freshest sound from the region and internationally! „We are super happy to give all new acts a fair chance in cooperation with gigmit and to offer our visitors a varied and fresh sound. A strong combination!“ says Martin Königsmann – co-organizer of both festivals and Managing Director at MGNFY.
