UMEK reveals ‘’Dark Market EP’’ on 1605 

UMEK is back on his record label 1605 with another hard-hitting techno release in the peak time style his fans have come to love and respect. 

“Dark Market” opens the release with its fast-flowing rhythms, punishing claps, and rumbling sub-bass that leads to the titanic suspense of the main breakdown. The breakdown’s tantalizing synth lines lead to a monstrous drop when the percussion comes slamming back in, and the track lifts up a gear to introduce an onslaught of energy from the stabbing lead synth. 

“Dream Logic” is a jackin’ track with shuffling percussion and a bumping techno groove with a subtle house music influence in the funk of its bassline. Lifting in intensity as the track unfolds, its upbeat energy and brooding atmosphere are a perfect contrast.
