Last weekend our Sunset Beach Festival finally happened again after a two-year break because of the Covid-19 pandemic!
With over 20-feed postings, over 200 Instagram stories & 9 reels in only one week, we could generate outstanding results.
In addition, eight of these 20-feed postings got published on the day of the event alone. The content & social strategy led to 1.000.000 impressions & 23.000 profile visitors in seven days.

Again, we experienced what power lies in the short-form video content & a high frequency in output when the relevance of an event gets to a peak.
Let’s magnify the results
With a social media & content team of five people on the festival ground, we could already upload the artists‘ content while they were still playing their sets. This extreme output led to a follower growth of 20% within the last 28-days alone.
Next to that, as mentioned in our latest‘ marketing trends‘ post, we believe in the power of short-form video content.
For the first year, we won’t publish a full aftermovie, instead, we’ll focus on three vertical one-minute clips that showcase the festival’s highlight moments.
With this being said we built all social campaign for the event …
- Our team uploaded the first highlight video only one day after the event, and it already is one of our all-time successful posts related to the post-interactions on the page.
- Our key takeaway from this year's Sunset Beach Festival is to be present when our audience is. The best moment for that is when the event takes place.
- We thought people weren't on their phones at all three years ago during a festival or event. Data shows us we were wrong back in the days. 10.000 people alone visited our Instagram channel on the day of the event!
